After two days of gray, overcast, cold weather the sun finally appeared. Snow and ice covered the ground but the sun drew us outside. The lure of the warmth of the rays was greater than the concern about the cold and crunch on the ground.
The world around was very quiet. A few ventured out, hand in hand, they walked together, keeping one another steady on the unsteady terrain.
When the skies are grey and the snow and ice is falling the world outside seems uninviting. The warmth of the sun lures us out. Once again it seems safe to venture out and take in the world around.
