Cannes, France...the shoes, well the whole scene..I love Cannes. On the other extreme is nature. Nothing plastic, tucked etc.

Early morning light can change dramatically and quickly. These two photos, taken in the mountains of North Carolina were taken within 30 minutes of each other as the sun rise painted a quickly changing color scheme over the valley below.

 

St. Tropez, France a town of colors, interesting people and especially beautiful women.

 

It's fall...stopping to recognize the colors around..makes 'today' unique.

 

The depth of the colors were great. 

The colors of the image were what interested me when this picture was taken. But it also got me thinking about why "skulls" are popular in the southwest. Maybe to remind us of the vastness of the geography and to respect it's power. 

It's an overcast day, typical for late November. The barage of commericals have started for the coming Xmas season. I'd prefer to think of a warmer climate and time, the peace of a quiet place, above the rush. In southern France, a rooftop can be a place to enjoy the sun and enjoy a quiet morning.
