I cruise flickr most every day. I have stuff there and I like to see what I post that may attract some attention. I hope people enjoy my photos. I have some flickr favorites, one of them is Katie West. Katie is a photographer and she often models for her own shots, an interesting challenge to set things up and get a good shot. In this case a photographer friend used her as a model. I like the B&W and Katie's open attitude.

The shadows and reflections of light on the chrome keep attracting my eye to this piece as an art form.

The texture of this glass piece was impressive. It made you want to pick it up and feel the fuzz of the peach skin.

I love her smile with the cap and gown.

I attended the Rhode Island School of Design graduation ceremony this year. The custom is for the graduates to add their personal touch to their caps and gowns. It made for a festive atmosphere.

Scene on the Santa Monica Beach..this skateboarder was good..how he got the board up on the steel rail was interesting to watch.

It was a warm, sunny Sunday morning in Santa Monica. The warmth of the sun and the stillness of the day attracted me to the colors of the tableware right in front or me.

Sunset created a beautiful backdrop for the amusement park at Santa Monica.

The temperature was in the high 60's, the sky was clear and the it was a beautiful day to walk Venice Beach in Southern California. The graffiti artists were working away...

The early morning light filtering through the clouds and the passing cars on the street caught my eye this morning.

A "cool" way to introduce '07....

Time has it's effects on all things. I remember this barn from my youth, our simple terms were "the old barn and the new barn", which of course meant we had two of them we would play in, growing up. My grandmother would milk the cows in this one, I'd sit on a small stool nearby and watch and listen to the sound of the milk hitting the bottom of the pail.
The horses like to say hello.

 Life seems a bit like this at times, twists, turns, a few barbs. Hopefully the root structure is in good shape to keep us grounded! 

 Mother nature's carpet has a few undulations in it, but of course that's what makes it interesting. The richness of the scene and the clear sky held the eye that day.

 Hey, shoes may get old but that doesn't mean they still don't have a use. 

 Open spaces n beautiful skies 

 I grew up on a farm but haven't lived there for many years. I get back for a visit now and then and always have memories of times past. I see it in a different way now from when I grew up.
